I attended an online workshop on Employment Standards. We discussed new changes and reviewed current key pieces of the legislation. It was very informative and James was very thorough in his explanation. This course provided me with valuable information, but I had hoped for more inclusivity in the discussions. The speaker mainly engaged with only a select few, leaving others with limited opportunities to participate. As a diverse HR employee attending the course, I never had the chance to share my challenges in a Canadian workplace. I believe a more inclusive approach to discussions would have enriched the learning experience for everyone involved.

Nice to have a certificate but at $300 a course it would be nice if they taught the full course. Leadership course was only 2/3 finished and in the 6 hour time period they took almost 2 hours in breaks.

The main content was as expected and beneficial.I felt that the start and the end of the program landed a little flat.There were no introductions and it began with the spin of an electronic wheel to select the winner of a WLC gift certificate.The last 20 minutes was a Kahoot quiz and then it was over. No review or room for comments.I absolutely see the need for technology and variety in today's presentations, but don't think it is a substitute for real connection.Overall, the program covered the main points of teaching and training and was the review that I was looking for.

I found the Occupational Health & Safety Management Certificate Course to be very comprehensive and detailed. The facilitators were both excellent and guided us through the program effectively. The course covered an abundance of very usable material and information.If I have one complaint that requires improvement I would comment on the Khoots method for answering the thirty question quiz at the end of the course. I would have prefered to have been given the ability to answer the questions using my laptop. Having to answer the questions using my phone put me at a disadvantage because my phone screen would go to black after ten seconds and I spent more time trying to unlock my phone screen and get back to the question answering screen. This caused a lot of questions to time out and I didn't get to answer all the questions. If we were at least told of how this worked I could have set my phone auto lock to a higher time and avoided this issue altogether . Apart from that the course was excellent and I plan to take more courses through Workplace Law Consulting.

The Workplace Violence and Investigation meeting was very informative. It was more focused to the HR aspects, but lots of things were taken away for my job title that can be useful. The breakout meetings I felt could be a little longer and the if we could have gotten the full story of the situation it would have helped. There were so many holes in the stories to solve that it made it complicated to come up with an honest review with feedback. The investigative material was great and if you could provide the information back to the individuals that participated that would be better for review purposes.

Amazing training session - one of, if not, the most engaging virtual training sessions I have attended. I've had to obtain many certificates over my years in the construction industry. I struggle with a learning disability that can hinder my ability to absorb knowledge. James (my instructor) made sure he went over all the material with me prior to taking the test. He gave me the confidence to pass with flying colors. Many times I have struggled to understand instructors with thick accents and have been negatively impacted as a result. I could understand everything James was saying with total clarity. He even goes above and beyond for the people whom did not speak English well. He took his time and translated all the material into their native language. I greatly benefited from this one-day course, as a good introduction to the subject of the workplace conflict resolution. The best part was an opportunity do discuss scenarios based on real-life cases. More experienced conflict resolution practitioners would likely require a deeper dive into the subject matter. I really enjoyed this course. The information was tangible and easy to follow. I felt that the end of the course was a little rushed, and that was unfortunate as it was demonstrating communication skills on how to diffuse conflict; having the difficult conversations, etc. Personally, I was hoping to see more of that. I understand the types of conflict, but demonstrations on how to "actually" communicate and diffuse conflict; demonstrations or videos showing how these conversations can take place where skills that I had hoped to gain from this course. I am hoping that the slide deck will be forwarded or some of the videos that were used, as I found them helpful. I will be signing up for more of these courses through Workplace Law, very helpful.

Fantastic presentation. Presenter was very knowledgeable on the subject matter. Participant size was great for a virtual seminar at 25-30 people. Case studies provided opportunities for meaningful discussion. No tech issues! Sufficient times for breaks. Format was *chef’s kiss* -Not too much time with only the presenter talking. Poll questions throughout (wish we could see those results on the screen though in real time.) A break from the content around lunch with trivia from your phone. I had a love-hate relationship with the spinny wheel to call on people haha but it definitely is a fair way to keep people paying attention! They provided a nonprofit discount which was much appreciated and would make me consider taking training from them again in the future.

I just recently took the course and I learned a lot. It was the best virtual course I have taken in and very interactive. We go through great case studies and in breakout rooms we hired the others thoughts and ideas. All in all the course in very informative

I have taken a number of courses with Workplace Law Consulting Inc. Their courses have always fit my workplace needs. I enjoy the pace of each course which also allows for questions and answers throughout. Topics comes with straight forward information that you can trust. I highly recommend WLCI.

I recently completed my forklift training and certification with WPL and it was an excellent experience. The instructors were knowledgeable and patient, making sure everyone understood the material. Just completed the workplace conflict resolution course and loved it! James and Lorina led the class wonderfully with a great balance of information given, fun and helpful quizzes, informative but easy to understand and interesting videos, and real life examples. The class was structured well!Will certainly be looking into more courses from them in the future and would reccomend anyone looking into furthering their knowledge to absolutely check out the programs offered here!Thanks Lorina and James!

Offers great online webinars- Team are experienced at running them and really manage engagement and questions fairly and quickly. To manage to get through the volume of content they do at the pace they do is a feat and well delivered! I took the ESA webinar in Feb- ideal for staying in touch with changing policies!

This two-day training was excellently organized. The facilitator and instructor were engaging and created numerous opportunities for interaction, including breakout rooms for discussing real-world scenarios and fun icebreaker activities. I gained valuable insights on resolving workplace conflicts. Keep up the fantastic work!

This was by FAR the best course I have taken in a long time. It was interactive and upbeat. The instructor was easy to listen to and very knowledgeable. Further, what a great use of new technology using Kahoot for the quiz questions and tests. GREAT job.

CPR training very interesting. Our coach is very to the point and full of humour. He use real life experiences and some movie’s scripts for example. Learnt a lot while having fun.

Great first aid and cpr training. I like the game that we played as a knowledge check as it was different then other cpr courses. Great company overall, have used them for MHE certifications as well and enjoyed that.

Best training school in the GTA for aerial work and working at heights. The trainers explain everything clearly and make it easy to understand. Good hands-on practice and very helpful staff. I feel more confident after taking the course. Highly recommend!

I have taken many training courses throughout my career, and I can confidently say that this has been the best one by far. I really enjoyed the case studies, the engagement from everyone, and the opportunity to learn from their diverse experiences. I also appreciated that the instructor took the time to answer everyone’s questions, especially given the size of the virtual class.
